📋 Description

• As a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer at Chainalysis, you will serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges across the company’s product suite, including KYT, Reactor (Cloud and On-Premises), Data Solutions, and associated APIs. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring seamless customer experiences by diagnosing and resolving intricate integration, deployment, and data operations issues that directly impact mission-critical blockchain compliance workflows for global enterprises, law enforcement, and government agencies.
• Day to day, you will act as a technical advisor during customer deployments, guiding clients through API integration design, authentication flows, rate limiting troubleshooting, and SSO/OIDC/SAML configuration. You will execute bulk data operations using SQL and scripting (Python/Bash) for tasks such as transaction exports, alert closures, user migrations, and historical data imports. You will also manage the full lifecycle of On-Premises deployments — from infrastructure planning and installation to version upgrades, data ingestion monitoring, and troubleshooting server-side issues in airgapped or restricted environments.
• You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to escalate bugs, translate customer feedback into actionable insights, and support feature rollouts by creating and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs. Additionally, you will mentor junior support agents and peers on technical processes, tooling, and best practices, while occasionally traveling to client sites (approximately 15%) to support critical installations, upgrades, and maintenance in high-security environments.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in blockchain networks, asset types, and protocol-specific behaviors while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data operations, secure deployment architectures, and compliance workflows. You will develop advanced troubleshooting skills in low-visibility environments, strengthen your ability to manage multi-stakeholder technical escalations, and become a trusted advisor to some of the world’s most sophisticated financial and governmental institutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proven ability to independently own and drive resolution of complex, multi-stakeholder technical issues from triage to completion.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving API integration issues, including authentication errors, rate limiting, timeout failures, and unexpected response behaviors.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data investigation, extraction, and bulk operations.
• Experience building scripts or automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages to perform bulk data operations and streamline repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences across customers, support teams, and engineering.
• Experience working in fast-paced, ticket-driven environments with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent urgent escalations.
• Background supporting global customers across multiple time zones, adapting communication and availability to meet regional needs.
• Experience deploying, maintaining, or troubleshooting server-based or On-Premises software in restricted-access environments, including airgapped networks and law enforcement or government deployments.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency compliance workflows such as transaction monitoring, alert triage, or sanctions screening is ideal.
