• • Senior Threat Detection Engineer role focused on proactively identifying and mitigating security threats through advanced detection rule development in Google Security Operations (SecOps) using YARA-L.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom detection rules, analyzing large datasets of security logs, collaborating with Security Analysts to tune detection logic, contributing to security documentation, evaluating new security tools, automating detection creation and threat intelligence gathering, and mentoring junior team members.
