- • Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for enterprise-level software solutions in the Energy and Utilities domain, focusing on complex data visualization and operational workflows.
- • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into seamless digital experiences for energy grid operators, field technicians, and backend administrators.
- • Conduct user research and usability testing with clients in the energy sector to identify pain points in current systems and inform iterative design improvements.
- • Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mockups using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, ensuring alignment with accessibility standards and cross-platform consistency.
- • Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure brand consistency across multiple products and client implementations.
- • Present design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback from technical teams and end-users to refine interfaces prior to development handoff.
- • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver design iterations in two-week sprints, coordinating closely with frontend developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
- • Stay current with industry trends in energy sector digital transformation, including IoT integration, smart grid interfaces, and real-time monitoring dashboards.
- • Ensure all designs comply with enterprise security and compliance requirements specific to critical infrastructure systems in the energy industry.
- • Document design decisions, user flows, and interaction patterns for internal knowledge sharing and client onboarding.
- • Participate in client workshops and discovery sessions to understand operational constraints and regulatory environments unique to energy utilities.
- • Advocate for user experience excellence across all phases of product development, from initial concept to post-launch optimization.
- • Support the onboarding and mentoring of junior designers within the Bucharest office, fostering a culture of design thinking and collaboration.
- • Interface directly with international clients in Europe and the US, adapting design approaches to meet regional usability expectations and language requirements.
- • Leverage data from analytics tools to evaluate design performance and propose evidence-based enhancements to existing interfaces.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal design processes, including评审 workflows, design audits, and quality assurance standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of professional UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years focused on enterprise software or industrial domains
- • Proven portfolio showcasing complex B2B or B2E interfaces, particularly in energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors
- • Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; experience with prototyping tools and design systems
- • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles for desktop and tablet interfaces
- • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional engineering teams
- • Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and translate findings into actionable design improvements
