📋 Description
- • The Senior User Experience Designer leads efforts to apply knowledge of human capabilities, technology, and industry design best practices to create user interfaces for complex, strategic initiatives at Allstate, a company with over 90 years of innovation in protecting families and advancing customer needs.
- • Day to day, the role involves independently designing user experiences for highly complex products, mentoring designers in both design and research, developing innovative solutions using human-centered design methods, overseeing the UX design process across multi-disciplinary teams, planning and conducting user research, translating findings into actionable insights, and leading UX strategy through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, and prototypes.
- • The team operates within Allstate’s enterprise, collaborating across product teams to assess opportunities and constraints while advocating for the end user, fostering consensus and cross-functional relationships, and modeling human-centered design approaches to uncover opportunities and visualize concepts.
- • In this role, the person can deepen expertise in UX/CX and technical standards, lead strategic design initiatives, mentor junior designers, influence business outcomes through design, and gain experience applying design methods to complex transactional business models while shaping the future of protection at a Fortune 500 company.
