📋 Description

• As a Senior UX Researcher at Camunda, you will serve as the forward signal for the Strategy pillar, running weekly customer discovery conversations to deeply understand user needs and translate insights into opportunity maps that directly shape product direction and strategic narrative.
• You will conduct 2–4 structured customer discovery conversations per week across diverse personas including developers, business analysts, CoE leads, and compliance officers, capturing raw customer language to inform product investment decisions and maintain live opportunity maps updated in real time.
• You will collaborate closely with Outcome DRIs (strategic PMs) to ensure research findings are translated into actionable direction briefs, own the failure library of customer value gaps, and lead monthly FDE synthesis and end-to-end validation sessions to stress-test the full customer journey.
• You will challenge product direction when evidence contradicts it, bringing clear customer data to leadership and ensuring honest signal drives decisions over confirmation bias, all while working autonomously in a fast-moving, AI-first organization.

• You will develop expertise in translating generative research into strategic product decisions, mastering the balance between insight and narrative, and growing your impact in a globally distributed, remote-first culture that values autonomy, honesty, and customer-centric innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product research, UX research, or customer discovery in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
• Proven ability to synthesize insights across multiple personas and product surfaces into actionable opportunity maps, not just interview summaries
• Demonstrated experience working directly with strategic PMs or product leadership to translate research into direction and investment decisions
• Strong async written communication skills to convey research findings clearly to DRIs, designers, and engineers without relying on slide decks or follow-up meetings
• Familiarity with process automation, workflow orchestration, agentic AI, or developer tooling to engage credibly with technical personas
• Experience contributing to field synthesis rituals with forward-deployed engineers, sales engineers, or customer success teams
