Senior UX/UI Designer

📋 Description

• • Craft the overall user experience strategy, design system, and content architecture for the site
• • Oversee a complete overhaul of site journeys and navigation
• • Create end-to-end designs including low-fidelity user interface sketches/wireframes through to high-fidelity pixel perfect visual design mockups and prototypes
• • Monitor analytics on user behaviour and site performance, continuously seeking opportunities to deliver a superior and higher converting experience
• • Develop a proficient understanding of StickerYou's products, customers and competition by leading and participating in user research, competitive analysis and other design thinking activities
• • Apply user-centered design best practices and methodologies as well as mobile-first/responsive design thinking
• • Work within tight deadlines without compromising quality
• • Individual contributor role
• • 5+ years in UX Design, Digital Product Design or Visual/UI design
• • A strong portfolio of projects which demonstrate creative, user-centered design solutions to complex problems, especially in an e-commerce context
• • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Design, User Experience or a related field
• • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• • Ability to take responsibility for design of solutions from concept to completion
• • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across departments
• • Proficient and effective use of industry-standard UX and UI design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and XD and UXPin
• • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations
• • Knowledge of printing industry considered an asset
• • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field is an asset
