📋 Description

• As a Senior Web Designer at Winona Health, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience for women seeking menopause-related healthcare through telemedicine, directly contributing to a mission-driven organization that combines clinical excellence with innovative technology.
• Your work will ensure that Winona’s digital platforms—including its patient portal, EHR, marketing site, and internal tools—are not only visually compelling but also intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business objectives, ultimately improving patient engagement and care outcomes.
• Lead the end-to-end design process for complex web projects, from initial concept through to final implementation, ensuring all deliverables meet strategic goals and user-centered principles.
• Develop and drive design strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging user research and data to enhance usability, conversion, and satisfaction across Winona’s digital ecosystem.
• Translate strategic briefs into high-fidelity designs in Figma that strictly adhere to the company’s design system, ensuring pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces across devices and platforms.
• Create detailed wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design intent and facilitate collaboration with product, engineering, and clinical teams.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, physicians, and stakeholders to validate design feasibility, incorporate feedback, and ensure seamless handoff for development.
• Facilitate design reviews and presentations, articulating rationale clearly to build consensus and align cross-functional teams around shared design decisions.
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Winona’s design system by defining reusable components, updating guidelines, and promoting consistency across all digital products.
• Apply and enforce design standards related to typography, spacing, color, and interaction patterns to maintain a cohesive and professional visual language.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects by prioritizing tasks in alignment with leadership direction, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality or attention to detail.
• Stay current with emerging trends in web design, accessibility (WCAG), interaction patterns, and front-end technologies to continuously elevate the quality and innovation of Winona’s digital experiences.
• Conduct usability testing, A/B test analysis, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions and iterate based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, version histories, and rationale logs, to support development, auditing, and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior designers and advocate for best practices in UX/UI, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the design team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or web design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered, high-impact website designs
• Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design, prototyping, and design system work, with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and interaction design best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, including basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS to assess design feasibility
• Experience contributing to or scaling design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency across digital products
• Skilled in leveraging user research, journey mapping, and A/B testing to inform and validate design decisions
