- • Design and build complex, production-grade client-side web applications for 1password.com, from initial planning through deployment, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
- • Lead the technical design and implementation of features, platform improvements, and large-scale migrations for the Marketing website in close collaboration with Product, Design, Content, SEO, and Digital Web Experience teams.
- • Own end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large web projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and production rollout, ensuring alignment with customer value and business objectives.
- • Apply advanced expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, CSS frameworks, and component libraries to develop and maintain a high-traffic marketing website with a modern frontend architecture.
- • Integrate and optimize headless CMS solutions, contribute to technical SEO strategies, and implement web performance optimizations to enhance user experience and search engine visibility.
- • Utilize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and AI-assisted development tools to automate workflows, improve deployment velocity, and maintain code quality across the web platform.
- • Set the technical vision for web initiatives, make independent, sound technical decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving environments, and document architectural choices and solutions clearly.
- • Act as a technical partner in cross-functional planning and execution, balancing product requirements, customer needs, and engineering constraints to prioritize impactful work.
- • Write clean, durable, and testable code with a strong emphasis on quality, maintainability, and long-term system health.
- • Provide constructive feedback through code reviews and actively mentor junior and intermediate developers to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to improve web platform scalability, user engagement, and conversion metrics through data-informed iterations and experimentation.
- • Contribute to a culture of shared ownership, continuous improvement, and psychological safety by encouraging feedback, embracing iteration, and modeling best practices.
- • Stay current with evolving web technologies and AI-driven development tools, and apply insights to enhance development processes and product outcomes.
- • Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to integrate marketing technologies (e.g., Marketo, chatbots) and track user journey metrics such as bounce rates and pageviews to inform web strategy.
- • Participate in annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and industry events, as required, to foster in-person collaboration and alignment with company goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience designing and building complex, production-grade client-side web applications
- • Advanced production experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, CSS frameworks, and component libraries
- • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), automations, and AI-assisted development tools
- • Experience contributing to the evolution and scalability of web platforms, including large-scale migrations, web performance optimization, technical SEO, headless CMS, and frontend architecture
- • Ability to set technical vision, make independent technical decisions in ambiguous environments, and lead cross-functional delivery
- • Experience mentoring junior and intermediate developers through code reviews and coaching
