- • As a Service Analyst Apprentice at Allstate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and performance of critical enterprise technology systems that support the company’s mission to protect families and their belongings. This entry-level apprenticeship is designed for individuals eager to launch their careers in IT operations by gaining hands-on experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC environment.
- • You will actively monitor alerts across network, Windows, VMware, and Nutanix systems, participate in incident response using the 'Zero Wait' mindset, follow established procedures, attend shift handoff meetings, and contribute ideas to the Service Improvement Backlog to enhance team workflows and system resilience.
- • You will support Level 1 troubleshooting, assist in resolving basic incidents with guidance from senior team members, participate in post-incident reviews, collaborate with engineering teams during changes and updates, and gain hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Wireshark, vCenter, and Prism.
- • You will identify patterns to flag automation opportunities, document resolutions for team learning, attend service reviews and demo sessions, support team goals around reliability and service performance, and get exposure to automation pipelines that reduce repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- • You will join a collaborative NOC Operations team within Allstate’s technology division, where continuous learning, process improvement, and technical growth are encouraged. 🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a 2-year community college or technical degree program for the duration of the apprenticeship.
- • Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher throughout the apprenticeship program.
- • Approximately 2 years of experience in IT operations, tech support, or system administration.
- • Basic understanding of enterprise systems including Network, Windows, VMware, and Nutanix.
- • Familiarity with incident management or technical troubleshooting processes.
- • Strong communication skills and comfort working in technical, fast-paced environments.
