- • The Service Technician I role at Serve Robotics is critical to maintaining fleet reliability by performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on delivery robots, directly supporting the company’s mission to make urban deliveries efficient and ubiquitous.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include performing hardware repairs and component swaps, executing diagnostic procedures using tools like multimeters, conducting validation testing, documenting work in MaintainX with photos and notes, maintaining organized workstations, following safety protocols, and identifying recurring repair patterns for process improvement.
- • Serve Robotics is a team of tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design building sidewalk delivery robots to reduce street congestion and improve local business access, operating in cities like Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago with a collaborative, agile, and safety-focused culture.
- • In this role, the technician will develop independent troubleshooting skills, gain hands-on experience with robotic systems, improve documentation and process feedback capabilities, and build a foundation for advancement within Serve’s technical teams through structured training and real-world problem solving.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of hands-on technical experience in electro-mechanical, automotive, electronics, robotics, aerospace, or similar industries
- • Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting
- • Familiarity with standard diagnostic tools (multimeter, power supply, general shop tools)
- • Experience working in shop, lab, or field-service environments
- • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- • Ability to follow structured troubleshooting processes
- • Flexibility to work weekends as part of a 5-day schedule (Thursday–Monday, 8:00am–4:30pm)
