- • Qodeworld is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Application Development Technical Lead to join our client in the Wealth Management sector. This is a critical role focused on driving the technical excellence and strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform within a large, global enterprise environment. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with business objectives and leverage the full potential of the ServiceNow ecosystem. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence one day per week, with flexibility for remote work from Plano, TX, or Camas, WA.
- • As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with the ServiceNow Architect to conceptualize and build sophisticated solutions across various ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management), ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management), ITAM (Asset Management, Service Catalog), and custom applications tailored to specific business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in defining and enforcing platform standards, architectural patterns, and best practices, ensuring that all development efforts are aligned with ServiceNow's evolving Now Platform roadmap and enterprise governance frameworks.
- • You will serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex platform challenges, intricate integrations, and performance-related issues. A key aspect of your role will be to guarantee that all developed solutions are not only functional but also inherently scalable, secure, upgrade-safe, and compliant with stringent enterprise governance standards. This involves a deep understanding of ServiceNow's underlying architecture and a proactive approach to maintaining platform health and integrity.
- • This role demands significant hands-on development and configuration expertise. You will be expected to lead and contribute directly to the development lifecycle, utilizing your proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), Flow Designer for workflow automation, IntegrationHub for seamless system connections, UI Builder for custom user interfaces, and intricate data models. A thorough understanding of ServiceNow's data structures and relationships is paramount.
- • A critical responsibility will be to meticulously review designs, code, and configurations produced by yourself and other team members. This quality assurance process ensures adherence to best practices, maintainability, and a clear understanding of the overarching platform strategy. Your feedback will be instrumental in fostering a culture of high-quality development and continuous learning within the team.
- • You will work closely with Product Owners and various business partners to effectively translate complex business requirements into actionable and efficient technical solutions. This requires strong communication skills, the ability to understand diverse business needs, and the capacity to map those needs to technical capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
- • Technical planning for releases, major upgrades, and significant enhancements will fall under your purview. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators, guiding them in adopting best practices, efficient development techniques, and effective problem-solving strategies.
- • Establishing clear development standards, implementing rigorous code review practices, and ensuring comprehensive documentation are essential components of this role. You will be responsible for setting the bar for technical execution and knowledge management within the ServiceNow team.
- • You will actively support the onboarding and ongoing skill development of team members through coaching, targeted training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Promoting a culture of engineering excellence, embracing automation wherever possible, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of platform operation are key objectives.
- • A significant part of your role will involve designing and overseeing integrations with critical enterprise systems such as Workday, Azure AD, Okta, Salesforce, and various monitoring tools. This will be achieved using industry-standard protocols like REST and SOAP, as well as ServiceNow's IntegrationHub capabilities.
- • Ensuring data integrity, optimal performance, and robust observability across all integrated systems is a core responsibility. You will partner closely with security, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure all solutions are aligned with broader IT strategies and compliance requirements.
- • You will play a vital role in supporting platform governance, which includes proactive technical debt management, maintaining instance hygiene, and ensuring a deep understanding and correct application of the CMDB CSDM model.
- • Leading the technical aspects of ServiceNow upgrades and driving the adoption of new features and functionalities will be crucial for keeping the platform current and maximizing its value.
