đź“‹ Description

  • • As a ServiceNow Developer at Clorox, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the employee and HR experience by leveraging the power of the ServiceNow platform. Your primary focus will be on the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module, Employee Center Pro, and the intricate web of integrations that connect these systems with other enterprise platforms like Workday. You will be an integral part of the People (HR) Product Team, tasked with transforming business needs into robust, secure, and scalable technical solutions that streamline HR operations and improve data flow across the organization.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering to ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including HR professionals, IT teams, and business leaders, to deeply understand their challenges and objectives. This collaborative approach will enable you to translate complex business requirements into well-defined user stories and detailed technical designs for HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and associated functionalities.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve hands-on configuration and customization within ServiceNow. This includes meticulously setting up and refining HRSD components such as case management workflows, lifecycle event processes, knowledge base articles, and various HR services. You will also be instrumental in building and optimizing the Employee Center Pro experience, ensuring it is intuitive and user-friendly for all employees. This involves configuring catalog items, defining topic taxonomies, and customizing portal pages using tools like UI Builder.
  • • You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality configurations and custom scripts. This includes developing efficient business rules, creating sophisticated workflows using Flow Designer, implementing UI policies for dynamic user interfaces, and writing client scripts for interactive elements. A key consideration in your development work will be ensuring that these solutions are not only functional but also performant, maintainable, and adhere to best practices for scalability and long-term support.
  • • Quality assurance and operational excellence are paramount. You will conduct thorough unit testing to validate your configurations and scripts, and you will actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business expectations. Where applicable, you will leverage tools like the Automated Test Framework (ATF) to build robust regression test suites, guaranteeing stable and reliable releases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for technical designs, configurations, integrations, and operational runbooks. This documentation is crucial for ongoing support, auditing purposes, and for fostering knowledge sharing within the product team and across the wider organization.
  • • Proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution will be a daily part of your role. You will be expected to identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents, defects, and performance bottlenecks related to HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and their integrations. Your swift and effective problem-solving will be critical in minimizing any disruption to HR services and employee operations.
  • • A key strategic objective for this role is to enhance integrations and automation. You will be involved in building, refining, and supporting critical integrations between ServiceNow and Workday, as well as other key HR enterprise systems. This will involve utilizing IntegrationHub, REST and SOAP APIs, and various integration patterns to ensure accurate and timely data exchange. You will partner with dedicated integration and data teams to architect secure and resilient integration solutions that support the entire employee lifecycle, facilitate data synchronization, and enable downstream reporting.
  • • You will actively seek out opportunities to automate manual HR processes. By designing and implementing end-to-end workflows and orchestration, you will significantly improve both employee and HR productivity, freeing up valuable time for more strategic initiatives.
  • • Continuous improvement and adherence to platform governance are essential. You will stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow releases, new features within HRSD and Employee Center Pro, and emerging platform best practices. Based on this knowledge, you will recommend and implement enhancements that align with the strategic HR and enterprise roadmaps.
  • • You will actively participate in agile ceremonies within the HR Product Team, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, contributing to the team's collaborative and iterative development process. You will also play a role in defining and upholding platform standards, promoting reusable components, and contributing to the overall governance of the ServiceNow platform.
  • • Championing a user-centric mindset is crucial. You will leverage data analytics, user feedback, and design input to iteratively enhance the HR experience across all channels, including the portal, mobile applications, and other touchpoints, ensuring that Clorox employees have access to intuitive and efficient HR services.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the employee experience at a leading consumer goods company, driving efficiency and innovation within the HR function.
