- • As a ServiceNow Lead Engineer at NewRocket, you will be at the forefront of delivering transformative AI-first solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients to unlock the full potential of ServiceNow, leveraging your expertise in custom application development and integrations to solve complex business challenges.
- • You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of talented Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where best practices and internal code standards are paramount. Your leadership will be instrumental in the successful execution of large-scale, complex professional services projects.
- • A core responsibility will be interfacing directly with end-users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to meticulously gather and translate systems requirements into robust custom applications and integrations. This involves conducting in-depth requirements gathering workshops, both in person and virtually, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs.
- • You will be responsible for configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications, with a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced platform capabilities such as Mobile App Engine, UIBuilder, Workspaces, and Performance Analytics to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- • Your role will encompass managing all facets of application development, from initial design and coding through debugging, rigorous testing, and comprehensive documentation. You will also focus on query optimization and report writing to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of developed solutions.
- • You will actively mentor project team members, facilitating peer reviews and providing essential technical guidance to elevate the team's capabilities and project outcomes.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve the implementation of various ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to IT Service Management (ITSM), Knowledge Management, Service Level Management, Survey Management, Agent Workspace, Virtual Agent, and the creation of insightful Reports and Dashboards, as well as Performance Analytics.
- • You will be adept at creating and implementing script-based Assignment and Approval rules, custom related lists, Access Control Lists (ACLs), UI Policies, and client scripts to tailor the platform to specific client requirements.
- • A deep understanding of custom application design and development within the ServiceNow ecosystem is crucial for success in this role.
- • You will be expected to create and execute development plans that adapt to evolving needs and requirements, ensuring project agility and client satisfaction.
- • A solid grasp of ITIL V4 processes and practical experience in implementing these processes will be essential for guiding clients through best practices.
- • You will contribute to the planning and packaging of ServiceNow platform solutions and accelerators, enhancing NewRocket's service offerings.
- • This role also involves participating in presales activities, including delivering compelling demos and conducting Proofs of Value (PoVs) for prospective customers, showcasing the power of ServiceNow and NewRocket's expertise.
- • You will conduct capability requirements analysis sessions and lead customer workshops, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- • You will design custom or product-based solutions that are strategically aligned with ServiceNow applications, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
