- • As a ServiceNow SAM SME at GDIT supporting CMS Cloud Products & Tools, you will lead the optimization, implementation, and compliance alignment of ServiceNow SAM Pro Plus to streamline asset management, ensure regulatory adherence, and optimize IT costs for a critical federal agency mission.
- • You will serve as the technical bridge between IT Asset Management processes and ServiceNow capabilities, driving license optimization, workflow automation, and enterprise ITAM integration while advising on publisher-specific agreements and AI-driven compliance insights.

- • You will collaborate across Infrastructure, Hosting, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to align SAM outputs with enterprise workflows, enhance CMDB data integrity, and support continuous improvement through automation and reconciliation.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in advanced SAM Pro Plus functionalities, including AI Agents, SaaS License Management, and integration with ITOM and CMDB systems, while building stakeholder communication skills by translating technical findings into actionable insights for Finance, Procurement, and leadership.
- • You will gain hands-on experience managing end-to-end software asset lifecycles—from acquisition and entitlement tracking to disposal—and contribute to cost savings, compliance reporting, and risk mitigation for end-of-life software and hardware under federal regulatory frameworks.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, or work experience
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro Plus, including entitlement management, normalization, software compliance, and integration with ITOM and CMDB systems
- • Expert-level proficiency in ServiceNow SAM Pro Plus capabilities, including SAM/ITAM principles, SaaS License Management, workflow automation, AI Agents, and publisher-specific licensing agreements (Adobe, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft)
