- • Are you a seasoned Shopify expert with a passion for driving eCommerce growth and a knack for optimizing online storefronts? Scale Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DTC (Shopify) Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling high-growth direct-to-consumer brands within a thriving eCommerce portfolio. You will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day operational activities and executing high-impact projects across our Shopify-powered DTC channels, directly contributing to increased sales, enhanced conversion rates, and an exceptional customer experience.
- • This is a newly created position within our eCommerce Sales function, reporting directly to the Director of Digital Sales. You will collaborate closely with a variety of cross-functional teams, including customer service, email marketing, performance marketing, creative, and operations, ensuring seamless execution and alignment across all DTC initiatives. As this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours, specifically aligned with the EST time zone (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
- • Your core responsibilities will span across several critical areas:
- • *PRODUCT LAUNCHES & MERCHANDISING:**
- • Spearhead the creation and meticulous publication of new products and attractive bundles on Shopify, ensuring absolute accuracy in pricing, product variants, and real-time inventory levels.
- • Skillfully upload and conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) for all product images, videos, and descriptive content, working in close partnership with our talented Visual & Graphic Design Team to ensure brand consistency and appeal.
- • Act as a key coordinator for product launches, liaising effectively with Inventory, Logistics, and Marketing teams to guarantee smooth and timely introductions to the market.
- • Provide dedicated support for promotional SKUs, sitewide sales events, and strategically planned limited-time offers, driving urgency and maximizing sales.
- • *SHOPIFY STOREFRONT OPTIMIZATION:**
- • Maintain the integrity and appeal of our Shopify storefronts by ensuring product pages, collections, and site navigation are consistently accurate, compelling, and user-friendly.
- • Proactively optimize the storefront User Experience (UX) to significantly improve conversion rates and Average Order Value (AOV), making it easier and more enticing for customers to purchase.
- • Implement and uphold industry best practices across Shopify themes, integrated apps, and overall site merchandising strategies to enhance performance and aesthetics.
- • Diligently monitor and maintain the overall health, speed, and functionality of the Shopify websites, ensuring a seamless and reliable browsing and shopping experience for all users.
- • *SALES AND REVENUE GROWTH:**
- • Contribute to the development and execution of robust strategies designed to significantly increase DTC sales and overall profitability.
- • Provide essential support for major sales moments, including critical periods like Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM), new product launches, and seasonal promotional campaigns, maximizing revenue potential.
- • Implement effective pricing, discounting, and bundling strategies that are carefully aligned with defined margin goals, ensuring profitability while driving volume.
- • *PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND ANALYSIS:**
- • Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales volume, website sessions, conversion rates, AOV, and bounce rates, staying on top of critical metrics.
- • Conduct in-depth analysis of performance data to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and significant growth opportunities, providing data-driven insights.
- • Prepare and deliver regular, comprehensive reports and actionable insights to key stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
- • *CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & OPERATIONS:**
- • Collaborate closely with the Customer Experience team to enhance on-site clarity and proactively reduce friction points in the customer journey.
- • Provide support for critical operational workflows, including customer subscriptions, returns processing, and post-purchase communications, ensuring a positive end-to-end experience.
- • Ensure unwavering brand consistency and strict adherence to company policies across all managed storefronts.
- • *CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:**
- • Foster strong collaborative relationships with Performance Marketing, Email/SMS, Creative, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to ensure integrated campaign execution.
- • Align DTC initiatives with broader channel strategies, including performance on Amazon and in retail environments, creating a cohesive brand presence.
- • Actively learn and utilize Fulfil, the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, to streamline operations and data management.
- • *CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND INNOVATION:**
- • Proactively identify opportunities for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Implement strategic GEO improvements for products to better serve diverse markets.
- • Stay ahead of the curve by testing new Shopify tools, apps, and workflows to leverage the latest advancements in eCommerce technology.
- • Consistently share learnings, insights, and best practices with the broader team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- • *ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- • Provide assistance with the management and optimization of international Shopify storefronts.
- • Support the development and implementation of future DTC tools, such as advanced subscription models, loyalty programs, and referral initiatives.
- • Assist in ensuring seamless alignment and integration between DTC and marketplace strategies.
