• • The Short-Form Video Editor will transform live event footage and long-form content into engaging, high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, playing a key role in scaling content output for a fast-moving U.S.-focused media team.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include editing live footage into platform-optimized clips using fast-paced techniques like hooks, jump cuts, and captions; identifying compelling moments from podcasts, interviews, and live events; staying current with U.S. news and trends to ensure timely, relevant content; collaborating with another editor and the content team to incorporate feedback quickly; and contributing to a high-output workflow under tight deadlines.
• • The role is part of a remote, fast-paced content team supporting U.S.-based clients, requiring alignment with U.S. business hours (9 AM–5 PM EST), and focused on creating high-impact media around current events with an emphasis on speed, relevance, and virality.
• • The editor will sharpen their ability to create viral content, gain experience in high-volume, real-time news-driven editing, and develop expertise in optimizing short-form video performance across major social platforms while working closely with a agile, creative team.
