📋 Description

• As a Site Reliability Engineer at Redis, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Redis Cloud services on a major cloud service provider, supporting mission-critical applications used by thousands of customers worldwide.
• Day to day, you will handle technical escalations in a Follow-the-Sun support model, troubleshoot complex production issues, develop automation tools and runbooks, collaborate with engineering teams during incidents, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain service continuity and stability.
• You will join the Redis Cloud Operations team, a global group focused on operating state-of-the-art managed services using cutting-edge SRE practices and tools, working in a culture that values curiosity, diversity, and innovation.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, SRE methodologies, and large-scale system reliability while contributing to a product that powers real-time experiences across industries—from finance to travel to retail.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, CloudOps, or SRE domains.
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting real-time production systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix and deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP) with emphasis on cloud providers.
• Experience with alerting and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.) and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Experience with containerization technologies and deployment/configuration management tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, etc.).
• Experience analyzing and debugging production issues at scale.
• Availability for 24/7 on-call duty, including nights and weekends (Follow-the-Sun model).
