📋 Description

• • As a Site Reliability Engineer II - Platform Security at Elastic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure that powers the Elastic Stack — used by over 50% of the Fortune 500 — enabling real-time search and AI-driven insights across structured and unstructured data.
• • You will design and develop tooling for building, testing, and shipping the Elastic Stack; build and operate production services such as downloads, Docker registry, and maps service; and support internal adoption of the Elastic Stack for software development and analytics use cases.
• • You will join Elastic’s Infrastructure team, a group of software developers who specialize in managing state through CI pipelines, cloud resources, and cross-team integrations, acting as internal consultants who apply Elastic’s own products to solve business challenges.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in SRE practices, infrastructure-as-code, and distributed systems while contributing to a globally distributed, inclusive team that values automation, open source, and technical excellence — advancing your impact as a trusted engineer in a company at the forefront of search and AI innovation.
