- • Join GoDaddy as a Site Reliability Engineer focused on storage infrastructure, where you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems powering services for entrepreneurs worldwide.
- • Automate and maintain day-to-day operations of Ceph-based storage systems, develop tools and scripts to streamline workflows, monitor performance, and implement solutions to guarantee high availability.
- • Work within a dynamic, agile team that values continuous improvement through stand-ups, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and proactive optimization of storage capacity and reliability.
- • Contribute to GoDaddy’s mission of empowering entrepreneurs by maintaining resilient infrastructure that supports website hosting, domain services, and online business tools used globally.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of professional experience with Ceph in a production environment, including deployment, configuration, and management of Ceph clusters
- • 2+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role focused on system reliability and automation
- • Proficiency in Python or Bash, with hands-on experience using automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or SaltStack
- • Experience with observability tooling including Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, and Loki, as well as Nagios-based monitoring like Icinga2
- • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and core networking concepts, particularly in large-scale, automated environments
