Over three carefully designed years you will rotate through mission-critical product teams, shipping production code that moves trillions of euros daily across capital markets, central banks, and government treasuries.
• • Begin in one of our vibrant Italian hubs—Pisa, Milan, Turin, Collecchio, or Rome—where you will pair with senior engineers on green-field micro-services, low-latency trading engines, and cloud-native data pipelines. Each rotation lasts 6–9 months and is chosen to stretch your technical depth while exposing you to different asset classes, regulatory regimes, and customer personas.
• • Master modern engineering craft through intensive boot camps in test-driven development, domain-driven design, and continuous-delivery automation. You will refactor legacy C++ into clean Java 17, containerise services with Docker & Kubernetes, and instrument everything with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. Security champions will mentor you in threat modelling, static analysis, and secure-coding patterns required by tier-1 banks.
• • Own features end-to-end: story refinement, architecture spikes, pair programming, code reviews, performance tuning, and production support. Expect to push commits that reach production within days—not months—while receiving real-time feedback from traders and risk managers sitting on the same floor.
• • Grow as a technical leader through quarterly hackathons, lightning talks, and guild communities (Java, C++, Front-End, DevOps, Data Science). Present your innovations to the CTO and you could see your proof-of-concept funded as a new product line serving 500+ additional clients.
• • Receive one-on-one coaching from a dedicated engineering mentor and a professional-development manager who will craft a personalised learning path aligned to your strengths—whether you aspire to become a principal engineer, product owner, or solution architect.
• • Collaborate in truly cross-functional squads that blend developers, UX designers, quantitative analysts, and regulatory experts. Daily stand-ups happen in English, ensuring you sharpen both technical vocabulary and stakeholder-communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• • Rotate into customer-facing roles where you will shadow consultants on-site at European central banks and Fortune-500 treasuries, gathering requirements and demoing beta features.
