• • You will be instrumental in leading the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of sophisticated software applications that are critical for capturing data in clinical trials. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of life-saving research by ensuring these applications meet stringent study specifications and adhere to global regulatory standards.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve overseeing the build and deployment of both test and production databases, ensuring their integrity, performance, and security. This includes managing complex, customized client implementations, which requires a deep understanding of database architecture and management.
• • Collaboration is central to success in this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Quality Assurance, Design, Translations, and Project Management, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
• • You will actively participate in critical architectural decisions, contributing your expertise to shape the future of our technology stack and ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals. This involves engaging in the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• • Ensuring operational readiness is paramount. This includes leading pilot projects, internal validation processes, and experimental development initiatives, guaranteeing that new features and applications are robust and ready for production environments.
• • Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance is non-negotiable. You will be responsible for upholding coding standards and best practices within a highly regulated environment, specifically adhering to guidelines such as ISO, FDA, and 21 CFR Part 11. This involves conducting thorough peer code reviews across a range of complexities to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• • As a technical subject matter expert, you will be a go-to resource for your team and stakeholders regarding the codebase and system architecture. Your insights will be crucial in navigating technical challenges and driving innovation.
• • You will play a critical role in investigating and resolving high-impact technical production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring the continuous availability of our critical systems.

• • Supporting documentation and compliance requirements is a vital part of the role. This includes contributing to the creation and maintenance of Software Installation Work Instructions (SWIs) and validation documentation, ensuring our products meet all regulatory obligations.
