đź“‹ Description
- • Join Foundation Health, a pioneering force in transforming the healthcare landscape through an innovative AI-powered digital pharmacy platform. We are on a mission to revolutionize patient-centric care by seamlessly connecting fragmented operational infrastructure, optimizing care coordination, and eliminating friction from the patient journey. We are not content with the status quo; instead, we are actively forging new paths and developing groundbreaking solutions that will define the future of healthcare practices. This ambitious vision is powered by a dedicated and talented team, and we cultivate a supportive and inspiring work environment designed to fuel creativity and drive transformative innovation. Our commitment extends beyond our organization, aiming to positively impact our people, partners, and most importantly, our patients.
- • At Foundation Health, we champion a culture that encourages our team members to expand their horizons, bringing their passion and curiosity to the workplace every day. We recognize that diverse perspectives are the bedrock of progress, and we actively seek individuals who share our unwavering commitment to excellence and forward-thinking innovation. Our core belief is that thoughtfully applied Artificial Intelligence can finally simplify the complex, often frustrating, workflows that have plagued healthcare for decades, thereby enhancing both the provider's workday and the patient's experience.
- • Our immediate focus is on revolutionizing the pharmacy space. We are developing sophisticated AI-powered systems designed for deep integration with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, enabling health systems to operate with unprecedented efficiency and at scale. This is not a superficial application of AI; it is about building robust, integrated infrastructure that fundamentally alters how care is delivered. As a Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this revolution, contributing directly to the development and deployment of these critical systems.
- • You will be part of an "AI-native" team, led by technical leadership with extensive experience in high-scale engineering, including our VP of Engineering, formerly of DeepMind/Google. This means we don't just build AI; we actively leverage it to enhance our own productivity and innovation. We are looking for engineers who are eager to embrace AI tools to maximize their output, automate repetitive tasks, and focus on the most impactful aspects of their work. We are cultivating an environment where the utilization of cutting-edge tools is not only permitted but actively encouraged and championed by leadership.
- • While we have a physical office in Manchester City Centre, we embrace a flexible, distributed team model. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration for brainstorming, problem-solving, and building strong team rapport, and we encourage engineers to come into the office when needed for these purposes. However, we are committed to ensuring that our remote team members are first-class citizens, fully integrated into our mission and operations. Your contributions will be valued regardless of your physical location.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with leading AI technologies such as OpenAI, Langfuse, and Vertex AI, applying them to ship real-world features that directly impact patient care. You will experience high agency and ownership, with the autonomy to guide features from initial ideation through to production. You will have a direct influence on the product roadmap and the technical direction of the company, contributing to a modern Node/TS/GCP stack with minimal legacy debt. This is a pure product engineering role for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their work delivered quickly to customers.
- • As an early member of our team, you will receive significant equity, taking a meaningful stake in the company's growth and success. We are looking for builders who can demonstrate their ability to create from scratch, problem-solvers who proactively identify and address challenges, and individuals with an AI-native mindset who are excited to work in a cutting-edge environment. We have secured funding, have clients waiting, and possess world-class technical leadership. We are now seeking passionate builders to join us in shaping the future of healthcare.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a portfolio showcasing projects built from scratch and a clear articulation of your specific contributions.
- • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and implement solutions, rather than waiting for perfectly defined tasks.
- • Demonstrated experience or a strong aptitude for working with AI tools and technologies, or a clear AI-native mindset that embraces leveraging AI to maximize productivity.
- • Proficiency in modern software development stacks, with a preference for Node.js and TypeScript, and experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
🏖️ Benefits
- • Significant equity stake in an early-stage, high-growth company.
- • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies (OpenAI, Langfuse, Vertex AI) on impactful real-world features.
- • High degree of autonomy and ownership, influencing product roadmap and technical direction.
- • Modern tech stack (Node/TS/GCP) with minimal legacy code, focusing on new feature development.
- • Flexible and distributed work environment with opportunities for in-person collaboration in Manchester City Centre.
