• As a Software Engineer, your primary focus will be on the end-to-end development, deployment, and ongoing support of our sophisticated AI software systems that directly power our customer-facing solutions. This is a hands-on role where your contributions will be critical to the success of our real-world industrial deployments.
• You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Deployment Engineers, Systems Design specialists, Machine Learning experts, and Infrastructure engineers. This collaborative environment is essential for ensuring that Maneva's software operates with utmost reliability and efficiency within diverse and demanding industrial settings.
• This position is inherently practical and execution-oriented. You will be responsible for developing and meticulously maintaining robust, deployment-ready software stacks. This includes not only ensuring the stability of existing systems but also actively contributing to their evolution and improvement.
• A significant part of your role will involve implementing custom modules and services tailored to the unique requirements of specific customer applications. This requires a deep understanding of our core technology and the ability to adapt and extend it to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our deployed systems consistently meet stringent performance, reliability, and operational requirements. This responsibility spans across both edge computing environments, where processing happens close to the data source, and cloud environments, offering flexibility and scalability.
• Dive deep into the intricacies of deploying and managing AI models in production. This involves understanding the lifecycle of AI models from development to inference in real-world scenarios, including considerations for model versioning, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to the development of robust data pipelines and integration strategies, ensuring seamless data flow from various manufacturing sources into our AI systems and back out as actionable insights or automated controls.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software components, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines, ensuring knowledge transfer and ease of maintenance for the team and future engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise in customer deployments, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to high-quality coding standards and best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in software engineering, AI deployment, and MLOps, and proactively identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and methodologies into our workflows.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Work with infrastructure teams to optimize resource utilization and ensure the cost-effectiveness of our cloud and edge deployments.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of manufacturing use cases, from product and equipment inspection to enhancing production efficiency and improving safety protocols, understanding the direct business impact of your engineering efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on building and deploying production-ready systems.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java) and experience with relevant frameworks and libraries.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or edge computing environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools for automated software deployment and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
