• • As a Software Engineer at Genio, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to crafting innovative software solutions that empower our users. Your role will involve the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring the creation of clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user needs and business requirements into robust and scalable software.
• • You will be responsible for writing high-quality, testable code that adheres to Genio's established Engineering Principles. This includes developing new features, enhancing existing functionalities, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of our learning tools. A key aspect of your role will be integrating various software components and third-party programs seamlessly, ensuring a cohesive and functional product.
• • Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software will be a regular part of your responsibilities. You will proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our platform. Your technical expertise will be crucial in recommending and implementing technical improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
• • You will actively participate in the deployment process, supporting releases as they move through test environments to production. This involves ensuring smooth transitions and monitoring system performance post-deployment. Continuous learning and development of your technical expertise in areas relevant to Genio's technology stack will be encouraged and supported.

• • You will be joining one of four stream-aligned product squads: BEAR (Buyer Admin & Distribute), Loch HESS (Buyer HE solution), GOAT (Note-taking), or Egg (Learning). Each squad comprises members from various disciplines, including Engineering, Product, and User Experience, working synergistically to build the best possible product for our users and customers.
• • Your work will directly contribute to Genio's mission to support 1 million students in becoming better learners by 2030.
