- • Join the cutting-edge Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) Engineering team at Red Hat, a global leader in enterprise open source solutions.
- • This role focuses on the ARO HCP project, where you will be instrumental in engineering features critical to the deployment and lifecycle management of Kubernetes and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
- • You will have a significant impact by shaping the architecture for Kubernetes deployment infrastructure and driving the development of our offerings from their initial conception through upstream development to final delivery.
- • Actively engage with and contribute to prominent container and virtualization communities, including Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and KubeVirt, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- • Develop and implement innovative new features, contributing your expertise to open-source projects primarily using Golang and Python.
- • Collaborate closely with team leads, architects, and fellow engineers to conceptualize, design, and architect robust and scalable offerings.
- • Take ownership of the quality of our software offerings, actively participating in peer code reviews, ensuring continuous integration (CI) best practices, and responding effectively to emerging security threats.
- • Work in tandem with Red Hat's Global Customer Support and partner support teams to diagnose and resolve complex customer issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- • Partner with the Quality Engineering (QE) team to guarantee that all projects undergo rigorous and comprehensive testing.
- • Share your knowledge and the team's advancements with the wider community through engaging blog posts, web postings, and presentations at industry conferences.
- • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI frameworks and technologies, proactively integrating them into your daily work to enhance development efficiency and innovation.
- • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code for accelerated code generation, intelligent auto-completion, and insightful suggestions, thereby boosting development cycles and elevating code quality.
- • Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) like Google Gemini for a variety of tasks, including brainstorming solutions, conducting in-depth technical research, summarizing complex documentation, drafting communications, and enhancing problem-solving capabilities throughout the development lifecycle.
- • Contribute to the evolution of cloud-native technologies and open-source ecosystems, playing a vital role in Red Hat's mission to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes solutions.
