• • You will bridge the gap between web-scale applications and blockchain technology, creating systems that make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone worldwide.
• • This role involves operating real-time applications with high-frequency, low-latency updates and managing secure, Dockerized infrastructure in the cloud.
• • You will have the opportunity to specify your preferred team within two major organizational groups: the Product Group (Base, Developer, Consumer, Institutional, Platform) or the Core Teams (Security, Enterprise Applications & Architecture).
• • Within the Product Group, you could join:
• • Base: Contribute to Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2 network, focusing on secure, low-cost, and developer-friendly integrations, fiat onramps, and tools connecting developers to over 108 million users and $100 billion in assets.
• • Consumer: Help build the easiest and fastest way to access crypto through the Coinbase retail app, focusing on becoming the #1 self-custody wallet with products like the Coinbase app, advanced trade, dApps, and staking.
• • Developer: Empower crypto builders with tools like Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) and Coinbase Cloud, working on cutting-edge technology and shaping the future of crypto development through Web3 APIs, services, and infrastructure.
• • Institutional: Develop scalable platforms and cutting-edge crypto technologies for thousands of large financial institutions, enabling secure digital asset custody and participation in the crypto economy, including staking, governance, and onchain gateways.
• • Platform: Create the scalable, compliant, and trusted foundational systems that underpin all Coinbase products, working on teams like Identity, FinHub, and Payments, and leveraging machine learning for intelligent automation.
• • Within the Core Teams, you could join:
• • Security: Work in a high-impact, fast-paced environment to build solutions for critical security, compliance, and privacy needs, safeguarding Coinbase by designing platforms like the Workforce IAM Platform and strengthening security oversight.
• • Enterprise Applications and Architecture (EAA): Develop innovative platforms to enhance user and employee experiences, focusing on customer-first approaches, improving agent productivity, and leveraging automation for efficiency in areas like customer support, HR tools, and compliance.
• • Your core responsibilities will include collaborating closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to translate product and technical visions into a tangible quarterly roadmap.
• • You will be responsible for writing high-quality, well-tested code that directly addresses customer needs and contributes to the company's ambitious mission.
