As a Software Engineer on our AI Agent team, you will be at the forefront of this revolution, designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated AI systems. You will play a critical role in every stage of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization and architecture to implementation and iteration, ensuring our agents are not only powerful but also reliable, efficient, and user-centric.
• • Your responsibilities will span the full stack, requiring a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as a strong grasp of AI principles and their practical application. You will be instrumental in architecting scalable and robust solutions that can handle complex AI workloads. This includes designing and implementing efficient data models, crafting clean and maintainable API designs, and optimizing our monorepo structure for maximum productivity and performance. We expect you to leverage AI coding tools to enhance your workflow, enabling you to deliver high-quality code at an accelerated pace, without compromising on excellence.
• • We are looking for engineers who possess a strong product sense, with a proven track record of shipping products to customers and a keen ability to iterate based on user feedback. • • Key projects you could lead include:
• • Conducting thousands of experiments to optimize our AI agents for cost-effectiveness, speed, and accuracy. This involves designing and implementing A/B testing frameworks, analyzing experimental results, and making data-driven decisions to enhance agent performance.
• • Building and maintaining robust offline and online evaluation systems for our AI models. This requires developing sophisticated metrics, setting up continuous integration and deployment pipelines for model evaluation, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our testing infrastructure.
• • Gaining early access to and integrating cutting-edge AI models from leading providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. You will be responsible for evaluating new models, adapting our systems to incorporate them, and exploring novel ways to leverage their capabilities.
• • Architecting and implementing scalable and reliable solutions for common, yet critical, features such as internationalization, user authentication, granular permissions, administrative controls, and custom branding. This demands a strong understanding of system design principles and best practices for building resilient and maintainable software.
• • Enabling customers to engage in infinitely long conversations with our AI agents while maintaining high accuracy and coherence. This involves tackling complex challenges in context management, memory, and long-term state tracking within AI models.
