• • As a Software Engineer focused on Developer Productivity, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing the tools, systems, and workflows that empower every engineer at Anrok to operate with greater speed, efficiency, and satisfaction.
• • This is a unique opportunity to be an early member of a critical function, with significant influence over the strategic direction and implementation of developer productivity initiatives, particularly in leveraging the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence in software development.
• • You will own the end-to-end developer experience, from the initial setup of local development environments and AI-agent sandboxes to the configuration of sophisticated AI coding tools tailored with Anrok's specific context and best practices.
• • Your mission will involve architecting and building a robust developer tooling ecosystem, designed for extensibility and contribution, fostering a collaborative environment where engineers across the organization can easily integrate and enhance existing tools.
• • A key responsibility will be to revolutionize the code review process by developing advanced tooling, implementing intelligent automation, and refining workflows that accelerate velocity without compromising the rigor and quality of our codebase.
• • You will directly contribute to increasing the speed and reliability of our build and deployment processes, focusing on optimizing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing test infrastructure, refining feature flag management, and streamlining deployment workflows.
• • A data-driven approach is essential; you will be responsible for instrumenting and meticulously measuring developer experience metrics, identifying key bottlenecks, and prioritizing improvements that yield the highest leverage and impact.
• • You will work with a modern tech stack including GitHub Actions, Jest, ESLint, Cursor, and Claude Code for development, and a production environment running on GCP, Pulumi, Postgres, and TypeScript.
• • This role requires a proactive mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and adept at making strategic build-vs-buy decisions to optimize resource allocation and accelerate progress.
• • You will collaborate closely with engineering leadership and fellow engineers, building credibility and driving adoption of new tools and processes.
