- • As a Software Engineer (DevOps) at Impiricus, you will be at the forefront of building, operating, and continuously enhancing the robust cloud infrastructure that underpins our cutting-edge AI-powered HCP Engagement Engine. This pivotal role demands a strong focus on DevOps principles, encompassing the entire lifecycle of our cloud environment, from infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipeline management to ensuring unwavering system reliability, performance, and security. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform's scalability and efficiency.
- • Your core responsibilities will involve the meticulous design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of scalable AWS infrastructure. This will be achieved through the strategic utilization of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, ensuring our infrastructure is not only robust but also reproducible and manageable.
- • You will be tasked with developing, managing, and optimizing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines. This includes leveraging AWS native services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, as well as integrating with popular third-party tools, to streamline our software delivery process and enable rapid, reliable deployments.
- • A significant part of your role will be operating and optimizing our containerized and serverless workloads. This involves deep expertise with services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Elastic Container Service (ECS), AWS Lambda, and AWS Fargate, ensuring our applications are deployed efficiently and scale dynamically.
- • Proactive monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting will be paramount. You will utilize Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and other advanced observability tools to maintain high system availability, identify potential issues before they impact users, and ensure optimal performance across our entire platform.
- • Implementing and enforcing AWS security best practices will be a critical aspect of your work. This includes managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, configuring network security with VPCs and security groups, and implementing secure secrets management strategies to protect our sensitive data and infrastructure.
- • You will drive the automation of infrastructure operations, including scaling, patching, and maintenance tasks. This will involve leveraging scripting languages and AWS-native automation services to reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency.
- • Leading incident response efforts and conducting thorough post-incident reviews will be essential. Your insights will directly contribute to driving continuous improvements in system reliability, performance, and cost optimization, ensuring we learn from every event.
- • Beyond infrastructure, you will actively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to maintain application stability and ensure a seamless user experience. This cross-functional involvement ensures a holistic approach to software quality.
- • You will also contribute to and enhance our automated testing frameworks, playing a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of every release. This collaborative effort with QA teams strengthens our commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- • Finally, you will be expected to support additional infrastructure, platform, and operational initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall success of the engineering team and the company. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend deep DevOps expertise with application-level contributions in a fast-growing, innovative company recognized by Deloitte as the #1 fastest-growing company in North America.
