- • Join the AI innovation team at Front, the 204 M-funded customer-service platform trusted by 9,000+ companies like CultureAmp and HootSuite. You will be one of the first engineers to shape how AI transforms customer support, owning the full lifecycle of AI-powered features that already delight thousands of daily users.
- • Architect and deliver end-to-end features in a modern TypeScript stack (React, Node.js, Redux) while leaning heavily toward the front end. You will translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, performant UIs, instrument them for real-time collaboration, and ensure they scale gracefully to millions of support interactions per day.
- • Drive the roadmap for AI Tagging, AI Answers, and upcoming generative experiences. You will partner with product managers and designers to define requirements, run rapid prototypes, and iterate based on A/B tests and customer feedback until the feature feels magical.
- • Own deployment and observability from your laptop to production. You will write clean, test-covered code, shepherd it through CI/CD pipelines, monitor dashboards, and respond to alerts—often shipping multiple times per day with zero downtime.
- • Champion accessibility, performance, and security best practices. You will audit bundle sizes, optimize rendering paths, and ensure every new component meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards so that every support agent, regardless of ability, can work at lightning speed.
- • Mentor junior engineers and level up the entire front-end guild. You will lead brown-bag sessions on React Server Components, establish coding guidelines, and review pull requests with empathy and rigor, raising the bar for craftsmanship across the org.
- • Experiment fearlessly with cutting-edge AI technologies. You will integrate LLMs, vector databases, and prompt-engineering techniques into the product surface, balancing latency budgets with model accuracy to create experiences that feel instant and intelligent.
- • Contribute to open-source and the broader tech community. Whether publishing a new React hook or speaking at JSConf Chile, you will represent Front’s engineering culture and attract world-class talent to the team.
- • Work fully remote from Santiago while staying tightly synced with San Francisco and Paris counterparts. You will join daily stand-ups, weekly demos, and quarterly off-sites, ensuring that distance never dilutes collaboration or innovation.
- • Measure success through customer outcomes. You will track NPS uplift, ticket-resolution time, and agent happiness, turning qualitative feedback into quantitative targets and celebrating wins that move the needle for real support teams worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years shipping production-grade web applications with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- • Demonstrated product sense—able to balance user delight, technical debt, and business impact
- • Deep understanding of modern web architecture: micro-frontends, GraphQL, REST, and real-time protocols
- • Proven ability to own features end-to-end, from design critique to post-launch monitoring
- • Nice to have: hands-on experience with LLMs, vector search, or other AI/ML tooling
