- • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Soulside AI, you will work directly with behavioral health organizations to translate real-world clinical workflows into production software, playing a pivotal role in scaling a platform that reduces documentation time by 80% and enables providers to focus on patient care.
- • You will engage with customers from kickoff to go-live, building integrations with EHRs and clinical data sources, extending platform capabilities for complex documentation and reporting, and owning technical outcomes end-to-end while shaping product based on deployment feedback.
- • You will join an early-stage, mission-driven team backed by top-tier investors and recognized by UCSF, OneMind, and PeakXV, where your engineering decisions will directly influence the architecture, product direction, and customer experience of a platform poised to power mental healthcare for decades.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare AI systems, gain ownership over full deployment lifecycles, and grow as a systems thinker and customer-obsessed engineer by solving ambiguous, real-world problems with high autonomy and impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of software engineering experience
- • Strong backend or ML/AI background with experience shipping production software
- • Experience building integrations with third-party APIs and data sources
- • Hands-on experience with LLM technologies including prompt engineering and production AI pipelines
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to clinicians and clinical realities to engineers
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership
