• • As a Software Engineer on the Developer Security team, you will play a pivotal role in securing Coinbase's software supply chain and developing automated solutions to identify and remediate vulnerabilities at scale.
• • This role involves owning critical systems such as artifact scanning, dependency analysis, vulnerability management, and security agents that automate remediation processes across the entire company.
• • You will be instrumental in building and deploying new features and services that enhance the security posture of our software development lifecycle.
• • Collaborate closely with engineers across various teams to integrate security seamlessly into their development workflows, making security a natural and inherent part of how software is built at Coinbase.
• • Take ownership of features and projects from conception through to deployment and ongoing monitoring, ensuring robust and reliable solutions.
• • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining services using Golang, a language well-suited for building scalable and efficient systems.
• • You will be expected to deliver features and manage small-to-medium sized projects end-to-end, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• • Author clear and concise technical design documents, effectively breaking down complex technical challenges into manageable tasks for yourself and potentially for other team members.
• • Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets the needs of our internal customers and adheres to best practices, ensuring maintainability and reliability.
• • Proactively identify and address technical debt within your areas of ownership, continuously improving the codebase and system architecture.
