📋 Description
- • Design and develop firmware for LiDAR systems using SystemVerilog, optimizing digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms to ensure high performance and reliability.
- • Design and develop firmware for motor control on FPGAs and MCUs, including calibration to achieve optimal power consumption and system stability.
- • Develop CAN-bus gateway drivers on MCUs to ensure seamless communication between robotics subsystems and external devices.
- • Create drivers and software for UART, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C peripheral devices and sensors used in robotics systems.
- • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing stands using Python and C++ to improve efficiency and validation of embedded systems.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate firmware and software components into complete embedded platforms.
- • Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and optimization of embedded systems using various measuring equipment to ensure quality and reliability.
- • Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and external partners on firmware-related issues and system integrations.
- • Apply knowledge of DSP concepts including FIR/IIR filters, FFT, convolution, and signal reconstruction in real-time embedded applications.
- • Work with MCU platforms such as STM and NXP, and FPGA platforms including Xilinx, Intel, and Lattice to implement low-level control logic.
- • Ensure adherence to embedded systems design principles, real-time operating system constraints, and hardware-software co-design methodologies.
- • Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and test coverage for all firmware and driver development activities.
- • Participate in system-level reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for embedded subsystems in autonomous driving technologies.
- • Translate hardware specifications into robust, efficient firmware implementations that meet performance, latency, and safety requirements.
- • Troubleshoot complex hardware-software interactions in production and prototype environments under time-sensitive development cycles.
