- • Design, develop, and test internal platform services that serve as foundational infrastructure for UiPath’s entire engineering organization, with direct ownership of the Feature Flags Service and the Engineering Internal Observability Platform (E360).
- • Plan and execute the development roadmap for critical engineering systems, ensuring alignment with team velocity goals and enterprise-scale reliability requirements.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams across UiPath to understand their needs, identify bottlenecks, and deliver scalable solutions that improve development speed and system stability.
- • Architect cloud-based tools and services using modern software patterns, emphasizing modifiability, extensibility, testability, security, and scalability.
- • Lead the design and implementation of high-throughput, low-latency systems that support asynchronous programming, multithreading, and complex synchronization patterns in production environments.
- • Maintain and improve code quality through rigorous peer reviews, automation, and adherence to agile engineering practices across the team.
- • Proactively identify, debug, and resolve system-level bugs and performance issues within internal platforms to minimize downtime and maximize developer productivity.
- • Mentor and coach engineering team members, fostering growth in technical skills, system ownership, and leadership capabilities within a high-performance environment.
- • Establish and refine engineering standards, documentation practices, and automation pipelines to ensure consistent quality across all internal platform deliverables.
- • Contribute to the selection and integration of new technologies and tools that enhance the observability, reliability, and maintainability of engineering systems.
- • Work in a hybrid or remote capacity, adapting to team-specific needs while maintaining high collaboration and communication standards with distributed teams.
- • Ensure all technical deliverables meet enterprise-grade standards for security, performance, and operational resilience across global infrastructure.
- • Translate business and engineering requirements into technical specifications and prioritized feature development plans that directly impact engineering efficiency and product delivery cycles.
- • Drive continuous improvement in platform observability, alerting, tracing, and metrics collection to enable data-driven decision-making across engineering departments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years experience in a Software Engineering role
- • 3+ years experience leading a functional team of individual contributors or proven experience mentoring and coaching peers in a leadership development opportunity
- • 1+ years experience in B2B software or technology industry
- • Programming languages (C#, C, C++, Java, Python, Rust etc.)
- • Experience with Kubernetes
- • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns
