📋 Description
- • As an Infrastructure Engineer at Thatch Health, you will own the reliability, security, and performance of the platform that powers a HIPAA-compliant healthcare benefits system used by employees, employers, and partners. Your work ensures that every product team can ship safely and efficiently.
- • Day to day, you will own infrastructure health and performance across the stack, make architectural decisions, design and evolve infrastructure using Terraform, improve CI/CD and developer workflows, strengthen security through access controls and vulnerability management, and proactively identify and eliminate reliability risks before they impact users.
- • You will join a fully distributed, early-stage engineering team focused on transforming healthcare through technology. The Infrastructure team enables product teams to deliver reliably by building and operating the foundational platform in a secure, observable, and resilient manner.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in operating production systems in regulated environments, advance your skills in infrastructure as code (Terraform), database operations (PostgreSQL), and security best practices, while having the opportunity to influence architectural direction and improve developer productivity at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience operating production infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE systems
- • Strong experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases in production
- • Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform
- • Sound judgment across reliability, performance, and security tradeoffs
- • A bias toward automation and improving developer productivity
