• • As an Infrastructure & Deployment Software Engineer at Harmattan AI Inc., you will design and maintain the software systems that power the company’s manufacturing and production environment, ensuring mission-critical defense systems are built on a reliable, scalable, and reproducible infrastructure that enables rapid innovation and operational excellence.
• • You will architect and manage internal fleet management systems, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and reproducible environments for engineering workstations, automated test benches, and IIoT components, directly supporting R&D and manufacturing teams in delivering autonomous defense technologies at speed and scale.
• • Your work will ensure that production assets are consistently configured, securely updated, and rapidly recoverable, forming the backbone of Harmattan AI’s ability to deliver high-performance defense systems to allied forces under demanding operational conditions.
• • Day to day, you will design and maintain systems to coordinate software updates and manage life-cycles across a diverse fleet of production workstations and industrial compute nodes, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational readiness.
• • You will develop and maintain automated deployment solutions for test benches and IIoT devices using containerization tools such as Docker, Docker Compose, and Portainer, enabling consistent and secure software delivery across heterogeneous industrial hardware.
• • You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI to support the rapid delivery of automation tools and inspection software to the factory floor, reducing cycle times and increasing deployment frequency.
• • You will utilize declarative build systems like Docker Bake and Ansible to ensure every test bench and workstation is configured identically and can be instantly recovered, eliminating configuration drift and enabling true reproducibility.
• • You will partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to understand operational needs and deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions that align with production goals and safety standards.
• • You will contribute to a culture of technical excellence by writing clean, well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and advocating for best practices in infrastructure as code, observability, and system resilience.
