📋 Description

• Qodeworld is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in MuleSoft and API-based integrations to join our dynamic digital marketing platform team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and continuous enhancement of our enterprise integration systems, leveraging the power of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and the latest CloudHub 2.0.
• You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and architects, contributing to the creation of scalable APIs, the support of robust microservices-based systems, and the implementation of intelligent workflows that seamlessly connect our diverse enterprise platforms.
• A key aspect of your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to thoroughly understand integration requirements. You will then translate these requirements into effective API-led connectivity solutions, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
• You will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of MuleSoft applications. This includes hands-on work with core MuleSoft components such as Anypoint Studio for development, API Manager for governance, Exchange for asset discovery, Runtime Manager for deployment, and the modern Anypoint Code Builder for streamlined coding experiences, all under the guidance of established architectural principles.
• Beyond MuleSoft, you will also develop and maintain critical applications, data processes, and essential business functionalities using modern backend languages like Python and Golang, contributing to the overall robustness and versatility of our technology stack.
• Your responsibilities will extend to working with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, and you should possess familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or similar document stores, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
• You will play a significant role in designing and developing responsive frontend applications. This involves utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js, or similar technologies, with a keen focus on ensuring that performance, usability, and accessibility standards are not only met but exceeded.
• Deployment and support of integration workloads will be a core function, specifically on CloudHub 2.0. This includes meticulous configuration, proactive monitoring, and effective troubleshooting to ensure high availability and optimal performance of our integration services.
• You will contribute to the development of sophisticated microservices-based and event-driven integrations. This involves working with asynchronous messaging technologies such as Anypoint MQ or Kafka to build resilient and scalable communication pathways between services.
• A forward-thinking aspect of this role involves supporting the development of intelligent workflows. You will work with MuleSoft Agent Fabric and Salesforce Agentforce (Einstein 1 Platform) under the direction of senior engineering leadership, contributing to the next generation of automated business processes.
• The creation of secure REST-based APIs is paramount. You will implement industry-standard API security measures, including OAuth2 and JWT, to protect our data and services.
• You will be responsible for implementing robust error handling, comprehensive logging mechanisms, and effective resiliency patterns within all integration flows to ensure stability and reliability.
• Writing thorough unit tests and actively supporting system and functional testing efforts will be crucial to guarantee the reliability, performance, and quality of our integrations.
• Troubleshooting complex integration issues and actively participating in root cause analysis efforts will be a regular part of your duties, ensuring swift resolution of any operational challenges.
• You will assist in critical migration and modernization initiatives. This includes supporting upgrades from CloudHub 1.0 to 2.0 and transitions from Mule 3 to Mule 4, contributing to the evolution of our platform.
• Collaboration with our dedicated QA and DevOps teams is essential to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
• A commitment to staying up-to-date with the rapidly evolving capabilities of MuleSoft and Salesforce integration technologies is expected, fostering continuous learning and innovation.
• You will participate in on-call rotations, providing essential support for our production systems as needed, ensuring business continuity.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in enterprise integration or backend systems development, with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience specifically using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong experience building frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts, microservices architecture, and event-driven messaging patterns.
