đź“‹ Description

  • • Ensora Health is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong .NET background to join our dynamic team. As a leading provider of software and services for mental and behavioral health therapists, we empower over 200,000 individual providers and more than 28,000 practices with innovative solutions. Our mission is to eliminate administrative complexity and foster harmony within the healthcare community through AI-enabled practice management, electronic medical records, e-prescribing, and billing systems. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining robust enterprise applications, specifically contributing to a comprehensive practice management solution tailored for mental health providers.
  • • In this role, you will be instrumental in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and development through rigorous testing and deployment. You will primarily utilize .NET (Core and Framework) and C# to build scalable and resilient applications. A significant aspect of your work will involve leveraging both NoSQL (specifically MongoDB) and relational databases, requiring a deep understanding of schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data management.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and fellow developers within an Agile/Scrum framework. This collaborative environment fosters innovation and ensures that we deliver high-quality software that meets the evolving needs of our users. Your contributions will directly impact the functionality and performance of our core products.
  • • Upholding a high standard of code quality is paramount. You will be responsible for writing comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to validate application logic and performance. Active participation in code reviews is expected, where you will share your expertise, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to established coding standards and best practices. This commitment to quality ensures the reliability and maintainability of our codebase.
  • • A significant part of your responsibilities will involve integrating our systems with third-party APIs and internal microservices. This requires a strong understanding of API design principles and experience in building robust integrations. You will also play a vital role in troubleshooting production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to optimize application performance and stability. Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges will be highly valued.
  • • Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation is essential for knowledge sharing and future development. You will be responsible for documenting system designs, development processes, and operational procedures. This ensures that our technical infrastructure is well-understood and easily maintainable by the team. Your attention to detail in documentation will contribute to the overall efficiency and scalability of our engineering efforts.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on .NET technologies, is required. Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem is essential, alongside a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and common design patterns. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines are also necessary for effective workflow management.
  • • We encourage candidates with experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and those familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, to apply. Exposure to microservices architecture and front-end development with frameworks like React or Angular is considered a plus. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest) and familiarity with AI tools for code generation or testing will further enhance your candidacy. Experience with Azure DevOps and NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, is highly desirable. While not mandatory, prior experience in the healthcare sector is a significant advantage, as it will allow you to leverage your skills in a domain with a profound impact on people's lives.
  • • Ensora Health is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment. We believe that a variety of perspectives and backgrounds enriches our team and drives innovation. We strongly encourage individuals from all backgrounds, including women and members of marginalized groups, to apply, even if you don't meet every single qualification. Your unique talents and experiences are highly valued, and we are eager to explore the possibilities together. We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to non-discriminatory practices throughout the employee and customer lifecycle.
