• As a Software Engineer at Sentra, you will be instrumental in building and deploying production-ready features across the entire technology stack. Your responsibilities will span frontend, backend, or full-stack development, tailored to your specific interests and strengths. You will have the opportunity to design and implement scalable systems that form the backbone of our core product experiences, ensuring robustness and efficiency as our user base grows.
• We embrace modern development practices and encourage the use of AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate your development cycle and enhance code quality. You will be responsible for designing and shipping beautiful, high-performance user interfaces for both Sentra's desktop and web applications, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience. A key aspect of this role is owning features end-to-end – from initial scoping and design through implementation, iteration, and continuous improvement. • Develop and deploy new features across the full stack (frontend and backend), contributing to core product development.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, leveraging AI coding assistants to enhance productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, ensuring the stability and performance of our platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Recent graduate or early-career engineer with strong computer science fundamentals and practical software engineering skills.
• Demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in either frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.
• For Backend/Full-Stack focus: Experience with Python and building APIs, familiarity with SQL databases and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• For Frontend/Full-Stack focus: Experience building modern web UIs with React and TypeScript, familiarity with component-based architecture and state management.
