• • As a Software Engineer specializing in Partner Builds at Future plc, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our global multi-platform media company's technological infrastructure. You will report directly to the Integration Manager, collaborating within a dynamic technology department that has been a cornerstone of Future's recent successes.
• • Your core responsibilities will involve developing sophisticated software solutions using C# and SQL Server. This includes writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, as well as designing and implementing database solutions that are critical for application functionality and optimal performance. A keen eye for detail will be essential to ensure the quality and reliability of your work.
• • A significant aspect of your role will be focused on integration development. You will be responsible for creating and consuming various types of integrations, including REST, SOAP, and JSON-based services, to facilitate seamless data exchange between our main systems and our diverse external partners. This will require a deep understanding of API design and implementation.
• • Embracing a test-driven development (TDD) methodology is paramount. As a mid-level engineer, you will adopt a test-first mentality to build reliable and maintainable partner integrations.
