📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer specializing in SAP Fiori Security at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will play a critical role in securing enterprise applications by designing, developing, testing, and implementing secure SAP Fiori solutions that protect sensitive health and business data while enabling seamless user experiences across the organization.
• You will contribute directly to VSP’s mission of improving vision care by ensuring that SAP Fiori applications are not only functional and user-friendly but also compliant with stringent security standards, thereby safeguarding protected health information (PHI) and supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Design, code, develop, test, and implement moderately complex SAP Fiori security solutions, focusing on role-based access control, authorization objects, and user interface security to meet business requirements while adhering to VSP’s information security and privacy policies.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into secure technical designs for SAP Fiori applications, including the configuration of catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, and Fiori app role mapping, ensuring alignment with operational and functional requirements.
• Research, diagnose, and permanently resolve complex system problems and security incidents related to SAP Fiori and GRC modules, performing root cause analysis and implementing lasting fixes to maintain system integrity and availability.
• Mentor Apprentice and Associate Software Engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured training opportunities, fostering skill development in SAP Fiori security, ABAP, and enterprise application best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including basis, security, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration of Fiori security components within the broader SAP landscape, supporting agile delivery cycles and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and enhance SAP GRC Access Control modules (ARM, ARA, EAM) to enforce segregation of duties (SoD), manage emergency access, and support audit readiness, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
• Stay current with evolving SAP Fiori security features, authorization concepts (SU24, PFCG, SUIM), and SAP security patches, proactively recommending improvements to strengthen the enterprise security posture.
• Document all security configurations, changes, and procedures clearly and thoroughly to support knowledge transfer, audit readiness, and ongoing maintenance by operations and support teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to deliver incremental value, provide technical input, and ensure security considerations are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of hands-on programming experience in enterprise environments, with proven ability to design, develop, and maintain complex business applications
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP Fiori security, including configuration of catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, and Fiori app role mapping
• Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts such as roles, profiles, SU24, PFCG, and SUIM, with practical experience implementing and troubleshooting authorization objects
• Working knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control modules (ARM, ARA, EAM), including role design, SoD analysis, and emergency access management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
