📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability full-stack applications that power Confiant’s core business functions and customer-facing Admin UIs.
• Own end-to-end delivery of software solutions, from problem research and architecture design through deployment, monitoring, and post-launch iteration.
• Rapidly debug and resolve production issues in complex, high-scale systems with minimal downtime, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with customer needs.
• Contribute to both legacy and greenfield projects by implementing innovative, technically driven solutions that improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Reduce complexity in existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities to simplify architecture, eliminate redundancy, and increase team velocity with less effort.
• Apply deep expertise in object-oriented design, functional programming, and modern software design patterns to build maintainable, testable, and scalable codebases.
• Work across a diverse technology stack including Python, PHP, or JavaScript; ReactJS; Flask; Symphony; and Puppeteer to deliver robust frontend and backend functionality.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure continuous system reliability and rapid incident response for critical infrastructure.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices, standards, and principles within the team or organization, mentoring peers and raising technical bar.
• Proactively identify and drive technical initiatives that improve system architecture, observability, and developer experience.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills when confronted with ambiguous or poorly documented systems, consistently delivering clean, effective solutions.
• Maintain awareness of cloud infrastructure best practices with deep, hands-on experience in AWS or similar platforms for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud services.
• Balance strategic thinking with execution, ensuring technical decisions support long-term system health while meeting immediate business needs.
• Engage in regular collaboration across global, fully remote engineering teams, adapting communication styles to align with diverse time zones and workflows.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster collective ownership and team growth.
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to assess their applicability to current and future product requirements.
• Maintain a customer-centric mindset, understanding how technical decisions impact advertiser trust, revenue integrity, and user experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (Engineer V) or 10+ years (Engineer VI)
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one of: Python, PHP, or JavaScript
• Deep experience with modern software engineering paradigms (OOD, functional programming, design patterns)
• Proven experience working with AWS or other cloud infrastructure for designing, deploying, and managing scalable systems
• Ability to work within 5 hours of EST (either ahead or behind)
• Demonstrated ability to reduce complexity and deliver high-impact solutions with efficiency
