• • Lead and cultivate a high-performing engineering team focused on Cloud Provisioning, driving the strategy and execution of our Infra Provisioning experience to enhance developer productivity and streamline cloud account and infrastructure setup.
• • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team, ensuring alignment with Coinbase's mission to increase economic freedom globally.
• • Mentor and coach direct reports, supporting their professional development and empowering them to make significant contributions to the organization's success.
• • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering leaders to translate the company's vision into a concrete, actionable roadmap, breaking down complex initiatives into manageable phases for iterative development and delivery.
• • Serve as a key technical advisor, guiding architectural decisions, promoting best practices in software development, and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality code and infrastructure.
• • Partner with internal engineering teams to understand their needs and challenges related to cloud provisioning, acting as a customer advocate to drive improvements that directly impact developer experience and efficiency.
• • Own and optimize processes that uphold engineering quality standards and ensure adherence to critical Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our cloud infrastructure.
• • Actively participate in the recruitment process, identifying and attracting top engineering talent that aligns with Coinbase's unique culture and technical requirements.
• • Drive the development and maintenance of multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
• • Contribute to and lead incident response efforts, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing, infrastructure as code, and developer tooling, evaluating their potential application to enhance our provisioning capabilities.
