- • As a Software Maintenance Engineer for OpenShift at Red Hat, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, ensuring they get maximum value from their OpenShift environments through expert troubleshooting and support.
- • Day to day, you will serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via ticketing, phone, and remote access, diagnose and resolve complex OpenShift/Kubernetes issues within SLA, collaborate with internal and external teams, document solutions, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in weekend rotational shifts when required.
- • You will join Red Hat’s Customer Experience and Engineering group, a global technical support organization dedicated to delivering high-quality assistance across all Red Hat product lines, with a focus on customer success and technical excellence.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes ecosystems, develop advanced troubleshooting and automation skills, contribute to global knowledge initiatives, and grow as a trusted technical partner to enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional experience configuring and troubleshooting OpenShift or Kubernetes with components including logging, monitoring, networking, storage, and Service Mesh
- • Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, LXC, cri-o, or runc
- • Proficiency in Linux operation and administration
- • Experience with automation or scripting tools like Ansible, Bash, or Python
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
