You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless functioning of our cloud-native, serverless medical-grade application, which directly impacts patient care and redefines prenatal health monitoring.
• • As a Software Operations Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the stability and performance of our production systems. This involves leading and executing software releases, continuously iterating on our infrastructure, and refining our deployment tooling to enhance efficiency and robustness. A key aspect of this role is operating within a stringent quality management system, necessitating meticulous attention to detail and the maintenance of comprehensive documentation for all operational activities.
• • **Deployments & Releases:**
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of software releases for both our backend services, built on AWS Lambda and Kotlin, and our web portals, developed with React/TypeScript and served via CloudFront/S3. This includes strictly adhering to our documented work instructions and quality protocols.
• • You will manage and execute infrastructure-as-code deployments within our AWS cloud environment, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and scalability.
• • A significant part of your role will involve configuring and maintaining critical integrations with various external systems, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
• • You will meticulously complete and submit all required release records in accordance with our established quality management processes, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• • Accurate and timely recording of all deployment activities using the dedicated Software Release Deployment Form is essential for tracking and historical analysis.
• • You will be a proactive contributor to the continuous improvement of our deployment strategies and operational processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• • **System Reliability & Monitoring:**
• • You will actively monitor the health and performance of our systems using AWS CloudWatch, which includes in-depth log review, proactive alarm configuration, and performance metric analysis.
• • You will be the first responder to system alerts surfaced through our monitoring lambda, triaging issues efficiently and effectively.
• • Investigating and resolving operational incidents across our Lambda-based backend and portal infrastructure will be a core responsibility, minimizing downtime and impact on users.
• • Tracking system activity through the generation of daily operational summaries will provide valuable insights into system performance and trends.
• • **Commercial Operations Support:**
• • You will play a crucial role in supporting the onboarding of new clinical sites, which includes the technical setup and configuration of Electronic Health Record (EHR) integrations.
• • You will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams, providing technical expertise to help them understand, scope, and specify customer requests accurately.
• • Acting as a first-line technical support resource for user questions, complaints, and feedback, ensuring a positive user experience.
• • Working in tandem with the sales operations team to develop and maintain dashboards that support quarterly business reports for our customers, providing them with valuable insights into their usage and outcomes.
