- • Partner with Account Executives as the scientific and technical SME on strategic and enterprise sales opportunities to guide the technical and scientific narrative throughout the sales cycle.
- • Conduct discovery sessions with scientific teams to identify high-impact workflows, multi-team use cases, and communication challenges across pharma, biotech, and academia.
- • Lead live product demonstrations, pilot programs, and technical validations of the BioRender platform for enterprise customers, tailoring content to scientific and executive audiences.
- • Shape deal strategy by elevating BioRender’s positioning as the optimal scientific communication solution aligned with customer workflows, organizational goals, and adoption needs.
- • Translate complex scientific team processes into scalable BioRender solutions, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.
- • Advise customers on best practices for scientific communication, cross-team collaboration, and change management to drive team-wide adoption of BioRender.
- • Build scientific credibility with researchers, lab managers, and institutional leadership by demonstrating deep understanding of experimental design, data visualization, and publication workflows.
- • Collaborate with Product to translate customer feedback and recurring scientific patterns into actionable product requirements and roadmap priorities.
- • Work with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and scalable post-sale adoption strategies for enterprise clients.
- • Partner with Sales Enablement and Marketing to develop scientific playbooks, technical documentation, executive-facing materials, and value messaging for GTM teams.
- • Identify recurring scientific and operational patterns across accounts and translate them into sales plays, training programs, and marketing campaigns.
- • Contribute to building and scaling the Solutions Consulting function by developing best practices, playbooks, and customer engagement frameworks for future team members.
- • Travel up to 25% of the time for in-person customer visits, including onsite demonstrations and strategic meetings with enterprise clients.
- • Serve as a bridge between scientific users and software, ensuring BioRender’s features are understood, adopted, and valued in real-world research environments.
- • Maintain a strong understanding of how scientists generate, analyze, interpret, and communicate data across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical settings.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) or deep professional experience in biology, life sciences, biotech, or a related scientific field
- • Proven experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, technical advisory, or customer success roles within a technical or scientific context
- • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex enterprise buying processes and engage with multi-stakeholder organizations in pharma, biotech, or academia
- • Strong analytical fluency in scientific workflows, data visualization, and communication practices
- • Exceptional communication skills to distill complex science into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Comfort with ambiguity and a builder mindset to shape new processes in a high-growth startup environment
