• • As a Solutions Engineer at HappyRobot, you will be a pivotal technical asset within our enterprise sales cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to partner closely with Account Executives, leading technical discovery sessions, articulating our technology's value proposition, delivering compelling and customized demonstrations, addressing intricate security architecture inquiries, and defining high-impact Proof of Concepts (POCs). Beyond direct deal support, you will play a crucial role in shaping and communicating our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy at scale.
• • You will collaborate extensively with our Product and Engineering teams to stay abreast of the latest product advancements and new features. This deep understanding will enable you to effectively educate prospective clients on the most innovative applications of our AI OS technology. Working hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Engineering, you will be instrumental in scoping solutions, demonstrating our platform's capabilities, and serving as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders at all levels.
• • This is a highly customer-facing role that demands a unique blend of profound technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to drive sales momentum and ensure customer success. Your day-to-day will involve:
• • **Technical Discovery & Narrative:** Translating complex customer pain points into clear, actionable solution architectures. You will define integration patterns, map data flows, and engage in high-level technical discussions and whiteboarding sessions with senior individual contributors and executives.
• • **Demo & Prototype Development:** Building and delivering tailored demonstrations and lightweight prototypes (sandboxes) that vividly showcase the value proposition of HappyRobot's AI OS, particularly for critical logistics use cases such as carrier sales, track-and-trace, appointment scheduling, and managing shipment exceptions.
• • **POC Scoping & Planning:** Collaborating with Account Executives and Deployment Strategists to meticulously define success criteria, establish realistic timelines, and allocate necessary resources for POCs. You will be responsible for producing clear Statements of Work (SOWs) and Success Plans.
• • **RFP & Technical Content Creation:** Taking ownership of the technical sections within Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs). You will also maintain and update essential technical collateral, including one-pagers, reference architectures, and comprehensive FAQ libraries.
• • **Sales Enablement & Demo Factory Management:** Leading the 'Demo Factory' initiative, which involves standardizing demo environments, scripts, and sample datasets. You will also coach Account Executives on delivering effective high-level demonstrations.
• • **Feedback Loop & Product Improvement:** Actively capturing market feedback and field signals. You will partner with Product Management and Field Deployment Engineers (FDEs) to transform bespoke customer solutions into reusable product components, driving continuous improvement.
• • **Industry Fluency Development:** Cultivating a strong working knowledge of brokerage, carrier, and shipper operations within the logistics and supply chain domain. You will be expected to speak credibly about the business impact and Return on Investment (ROI) of our solutions.
• • **Travel:** This role requires approximately 25% to 50% travel to engage in customer discovery meetings, conduct workshops, deliver demonstrations, and participate in onsite collaborative sessions.
