• • As a Solutions Integration Engineer at Lavendo Inc., you will be at the forefront of transforming how small businesses leverage AI for customer interactions. This high-ownership role places you in a critical position to directly influence the deployment and scaling of cutting-edge AI technology across a diverse range of real-world business applications.
• • You will collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and a senior engineering team, taking a lead role in defining the architecture, delivery methodologies, and technical standards for integrations. This is a unique opportunity to blend deep backend engineering expertise with strategic, client-facing responsibilities, building integrations that are fundamental to our customers’ revenue operations and crucial for the adoption of AI by large accounts and strategic partners.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end integration delivery process. This encompasses the entire lifecycle, from initial scoping and meticulous design phases, through robust development and comprehensive testing, to successful deployment. You will ensure that every integration solution not only meets the specific business requirements of our clients but also adheres to stringent production-ready standards, guaranteeing reliability and scalability.
• • You will work in tandem with the Lead Engineer to meticulously manage the integration lifecycle. This involves clearly defining project requirements, structuring work into manageable tasks, assigning responsibilities, closely monitoring execution progress, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of all integration projects.
• • A core aspect of your role will be to architect and comprehensively document integration solutions. You will utilize a robust technical toolkit including Python, REST, gRPC, Kafka, Redis, Postman, and SQL. This architectural work will be supported by detailed documentation such as UML (Unified Modeling Language), DFD (Data Flow Diagrams), ERD (Entity-Relationship Diagrams), and BRD (Business Requirements Documents), ensuring clarity and maintainability.
• • You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of integration projects. This includes planning and managing sprints effectively, diligently tracking progress against milestones, proactively identifying and resolving any blockers that impede delivery momentum, and maintaining a consistent pace of execution.
• • Engaging with stakeholders will be paramount. You will work to align project goals with business objectives, manage the scope of integrations effectively, and proactively prevent deviations from agreed-upon priorities, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver maximum value.
• • You will champion and drive Agile/Scrum practices within the integration team. This involves facilitating key ceremonies, maintaining detailed backlogs in YouTrack, and providing transparent, regular reporting on project status and progress to all relevant parties.
• • Post-deployment, you will ensure the ongoing system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring. You will leverage tools like Grafana and other observability platforms to identify and address potential issues before they impact clients.
• • You will maintain accountability for all project milestones, demonstrating a strong ability to deliver results under pressure while upholding the strictest implementation and delivery standards. This includes a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
• • A significant part of your role will involve conducting thorough code reviews, ensuring that the codebase remains clean, consistent, and of high quality, fostering a collaborative and technically excellent engineering environment.
