• • As an AI Tutor - Space Science Specialist at xAI Corporation, you will play a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to build AI systems that understand the universe by providing expert-level input, labels, and curated data to train and refine cutting-edge AI models in space science domains.
• • Your work will directly contribute to improving model performance in complex scientific reasoning tasks, enabling AI to assist in discoveries across astrophysics, cosmology, planetary science, and related fields through high-fidelity annotation and problem curation.
• • Day to day, you will use proprietary software to annotate and label data in text, voice, and video formats, ensuring high-quality curated datasets that support the training of new AI tasks and model refinement.
• • You will collaborate closely with xAI’s technical team to refine annotation tools, provide feedback on usability and efficiency, and help design better systems for capturing complex space science knowledge.
• • A key part of your role involves selecting challenging, advanced problems from specialized space science subdomains—such as galactic astronomy, stellar astrophysics, high-energy astrophysics, cosmology, or planetary science—where you can confidently generate expert solutions and evaluate AI model responses for accuracy and scientific validity.
