- • The Specialist, Shopfloor IT Operations role at Scout Motors is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing systems that support the production of innovative electric vehicles, directly contributing to the company’s mission of revitalizing an iconic American brand through electrification and digitization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include establishing and maintaining shopfloor IT systems such as MES, SCADA, and Screw Data Management; configuring and troubleshooting hardware like Worker Guidance stations and Andon boards; managing label and printer services; developing support concepts; handling service tickets with tier-one support; conducting audits and reporting; providing IT coverage across all production shifts; and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless operations.

🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional experience in industry, with automotive production preferred
- • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or another technical field
- • 2+ years of project management experience
- • Familiarity with database systems, programming, and communication protocols
- • Knowledge of shopfloor systems including SCADA, MES, Edge Computing, or Torque Data Management Systems
- • Basic knowledge of automation technology/PLCs and modern interface technologies
- • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities
- • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
- • Willingness to travel internationally for training
- • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
